Please make sure to check the UPS GROUND TRANSIT TIME MAP to see what zone your state falls under. Once you determine your state's zone, please read the following to see what day your package will arrive.
You will be able to choose your shipping method, (standard, second day or next day) and see the cost of each method, during the checkout process when you place an order. Shipping costs depend on item weight and destination. We ship using UPS (United Parcel Service), or USPS (United States Post Office) Priority Mail. (Items sent to a P.O. Box, military base, or a location outside of the continental United States are always sent using USPS.)
Additional options for items shipped within the continental US include 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air shipping is available for continental US only, no P.O. Boxes, military bases or destinations outside of the United States. Also, please note that 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air refer to two day and one day delivery where days are business days. For example, if your 2nd Day Air order ships on Thursday, it will arrive on Monday, since Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days. If you need a 2nd Day Air or Next Day air package to arrive on a Saturday, please contact us to make arrangements. Saturday deliveries may incur extra charges.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated automatically and will be displayed when you go to the checkout page. There is a minimum shipping charge of $5.35 per order, which includes package tracking/ delivery confirmation. Please note: International orders, unless sent via Global Express or UPS, are not trackable. Both of these shipping options are extremely expensive and are used only upon customer request.
Transit Time
Orders are usually shipped within two business days, though we try and ship sooner than that if possible. Please note that orders placed late on a Friday usually do not ship until Monday. Please take this into account when calculating transit times.
If you have concerns about transit times (i.e., you must have an order by a certain date, and are concerned that it won't reach its destination in time unless it is shipped the day you place your order) please contact us so we can make arrangements to get your order to you by the day you need the item(s).
Standard Shipping - We ship from the East Coast, and Transit time depends on the shipping destination.
UPS ground ship times range from 1-5 (sometimes 6) business days from the day we ship your order. You can determine the transit time for UPS shipments by referring to our color-coded UPS transit time map.
USPS Priority mail shipments are usually in transit for 1-4 days from the day your order is shipped.
2nd Day Air (continental US only, no P.O. Boxes or military bases) - Guaranteed to arrive on the 2nd business day from the day your order is shipped.
Next Day Air (continental US only, no P.O. Boxes or military bases) - Guaranteed to arrive one business day from the day your order is shipped.
We make every effort to process orders as soon as possible, especially 2nd Day and Next Day Air orders, but it may take one, or possibly two business days to process your order.
Oversize Charges
Extra charges are incurred for 2nd Day and Next Day Air packages that exceed certain dimensions. Large orders and certain combinations of items may trigger these oversize charges. If your order is deemed oversized we will contact you with the revised shipping total and will need your permission to charge the increased amount. Please provide a valid e-mail and phone number so we may reach you as soon as possible regarding your order.
International Shipping
All international orders are shipped through the US Post office via Air Mail (international orders are sent using surface mail upon customer request only).
Due to the various size and weights of items, as well as varying postal rates for shipping to different countries, it is very difficult to calculate an average shipping charge for items sent to destinations outside of the U.S. For example, if someone in Canada orders a tie, there is no additional shipping charge. However, if someone in the UK orders a dish set, the postage will wind up being more than what is listed on the site due to the weight of the item. Thus, any extra charge for items sent internationally cannot be accurately calculated until after an order is placed. If additional charges are necessary (though we will cover slight differences in shipping costs-aren't we nice? :-) ) we will contact you with the revised shipping total and will require your permission to charge the increased amount. Please provide a valid e-mail address so we may reach you regarding your order.
If you plan to place an international order and would like a shipping estimate prior to ordering, (we recommend this, so you know if there are any extra charges, and how much they will be, up front) please contact us with details regarding your location and the items you plan on ordering. An e-mail response will be sent back shortly with a personalized additional shipping cost estimate. Please note: International orders, unless sent via Global Express or UPS, are not trackable. Your Shipping Address/Location...
Please be very careful when entering address information, since an incorrect shipping address may result in delivery delays and/or surcharges. If an order is sent out using United Parcel Service (UPS) and the address you provided is incorrect, UPS will make every attempt to obtain the correct address and deliver the package. UPS will then charge the shipper (Looneystore.com) an address change surcharge. The same surcharge rules apply if a customer, after receiving the package tracking number, changes his/her mind about where the products(s) should be shipped and calls UPS and asks them to change the delivery address. Any such address change charges will be billed to the customer by Looneystore.com. Of course, if the address change is required due to an error on the part of Looneystore.com, we will cover the address change cost.
If an order is sent out via the United States Post Office (USPS) and the shipping address is incorrect, the package is sent back to Looneystore.com and will have to be reshipped. This delays delivery, and any re-shipment charges will be billed to the customer by Looneystore.com. Again, if the postal return is due to an error on the part of Looneystore.com, we will cover the re-shipment cost.
UPS tracking or USPS delivery confirmation is provided for all orders to ensure that your package reaches its destination, but we are not responsible for packages once they reach their correct shipping destination. Please choose a shipping address that is secure in the event that your package arrives and no one is available to receive it. For items shipped to apartments, UPS (but not the US postal service) will often (though not always) require that someone is available to receive the shipment.
Tax Collection
Sales tax is collected for orders shipped to New Jersey.
